Using high-quality MERV filters, the system—which is connected to your HVAC—filters air pollutants out of your indoor air and brings in fresh air. No one wants to breathe recirculated, stale air! And the other benefit is that, rather than changing the filters on your inside vents each month (which you do, right?), the MERV filter needs to be replaced just once a year. It might seem logical to center the doors on a wall but that creates potentially wasted space. No one likes a messy kitchen, so New Home Inc. has a solution, which is called the “Messy kitchen”.  This space is adjacent to your kitchen, a small room with a separate sink and cabinet space. The purpose is to take your mess from the main kitchen and move it to the secondary service pantry. Use the room for prep, storage, or clean-up. Create a beverage and snack station. Store your serving dishes and small appliances. You’ll love the clutter-free look and reduced traffic in your kitchen.

Theowner’s entryin each home is what some people know as a mudroom or drop zone. In a New Home Inc. home, we include built-in cubbies and wall hooks to help with organizing clutter and keeping that mess out of the main part of the home.

The Clayton Home Tour

The Clayton is about as versatile as a floor plan can get. Choose the single-level home design, with 1,871 square feet. Or add a half-story (and about 800 more square feet) with 2 more bedrooms, another full bath, a spacious loft, and some storage space you’ll love!

Start with the impressive exterior.The Clayton video home tourshows the Traditional elevation with a full front porch, but you can also choose either the French Country or Craftsman elevation—each with its own unique characteristics.

The porch with the Traditional elevation presents a great outdoor living space. There’s room for furniture so you can sit and enjoy the view or visit with guests—and still have plenty of walking space.

Inside this version of The Clayton, this home shows how New Home Inc. can get creative with a floor plan to accommodate your wishes. We converted the flex room to a pocket office, adding French doors to the otherwise open entry. Then, we borrowed a little of the flex room’s square footage and shifted it to the kitchen.

The extra space contributes to a gourmet kitchen, specifically making room for a walk-in pantry and the messy kitchen we described earlier in this home video tour preview. This kitchen has a large center island; the sink is under the kitchen window to make the island’s entire countertop one smooth workspace—whether you use it for food prep, serving, or casual dining. This kitchen also has some of the most requested appliance placement: built-ins for the cooktop, microwave, and wall ovens.

Step just beyond this gourmet kitchen to the large cafe area. New Home Inc. doesn’t use the formal dining room in our floor plans, because homebuyers want a different function that is more usable, like flex spaces. The cafe is filled with natural light and adds entertaining space you’ll appreciate.

Now. look at the family room at the end of the open floor plan. The space is wide open and perfect for gathering. The natural gas fireplace adds to the welcoming ambience here. And the family room is wired for your television on 2 walls. There’s none of those ugly cables hanging down from your wall-mounted TV because the outlet is behind it.

Now, The Clayton’s owner’s suite is in the back corner of the home. The entry is adjacent to the large laundry room, a convenient location that homebuyers request. 

The owner’s bath offers the choice of 3 configurations. This model shows the soaking tub and separate shower option. If you don’t want the tub, how about a standalone shower with a tile floor, bench and tile walls and a linen closet? The third choice is the exclusive super shower option, which expands the shower’s size and includes rainheads, body jets and a drying area…the full spa treatment. From this bright, sunny bathroom, step into the really large walk-in closet. 

The Clayton includes 2 other bedrooms on the first floor. They are comparably sized and share a full bath—perfect to create a guest suite experience. And all of these rooms demonstrate our sensible approach to door placement. We position doors so that when they swing out, nothing is being blocked and you have better wall space for furniture placement.

Now, if you want a ranch home, The Clayton is certainly a smart choice, But maybe you want just a bit more for your new home.

Add a half-story to this floor plan and bring the home up to more than 2,700 square feet. At the top of the stairs, the open bonus room is perfectly laid out for so many uses: a game room, workout studio, hobby space, a second home office, library, or anything you can imagine. Two full-sized windows flood the space with natural light. 

Down the hall from the bonus room, your half-story includes 2 large bedrooms and a full bath. And something extra.

Two walk-in, unfinished storage spaces. No crawling up in the attic. Just step inside to all those seasonal decorations and other treasures that you want to keep safe.

The Holly Home Tour

Offering between 2,200 and 2,500 square feet,The Hollyhome designoffers the choice of 3 distinct elevations: Georgian, Craftsman, and English Country. Each one presents a full front porch.  

The Holly video tourtakes you inside this beautiful home. Next to the foyer, take in the pocket office, lit up with the sun streaming through full-sized windows in the front. Use the pocket office as it appears in this model with the bump-out in the front or eliminate the bump-out and keep the original powder room and linen closet.

Before you head into The Holly’s openfloor plan, stop at the stairs on your right. There’s a storage closet built under the stairs. Keep your big boxes, seasonal decor, vacuum cleaners, or anything else you need to stash in a handy location. The whole home network panel is installed in this closet, an easily accessible and central location.

The main living area of The Holly includes the large kitchen with the oversized island, walk-in “power” pantry, and messy kitchen features. Just beyond the kitchen, the cafe bump-out option adds 150 square feet which expands the kitchen space.

Now, head upstairs and explore The Apex’s 4 bedrooms, but first take a look at the loft at the top of the stairs. It’s big enough to be a family room, game room, fitness center, playroom,  reading room, hobby studio, or even enclosed to become another bedroom or a second home office. The large loft space already has a walk-in closet, too. 

The owner’s suite is spacious and uses every square foot to your advantage. The home video tour shows the natural light filling the room through the full-sized windows. The owner’s  split dual closets are situated between the bedroom and the bath, one on each side. One of the closets can be connected directly to the large laundry room, too.

The Cary Home Tour

One look at the exterior ofThe Caryspeaks to its distinction. Each elevation—Low Country French Country, and Traditional—shows how you can completely transform the exterior with some careful design decisions.

The Cary provides 2,400 to 2,500 square feet of space, with 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. One of the major lifestyle options in this home is the flex room off the foyer. If you want to use it as a home office, add double doors. Or choose the pocket office design, with a smaller room closed off with a pocket door. Changing the layout in this way adds more space to the kitchen, allowing for the messy kitchen feature. Either way, The Cary includes a large front closet and powder room by the foyer.

The kitchen is another enticing feature, particularly with the oversized center island and wall-to-wall countertops and cabinets. We’ve placed the kitchen sink on the counter by the window so the island provides more usable space, plus the standard seating on 3 sides.

The kitchen transitions to the oversized cafe and out into the family room, with the covered patio centered on the back of the area. The full-sized windows create a main living area that’s bright and airy. In this model, we include a gas fireplace with custom built-ins, another desirable option.

Head up the stairs—with the storage closet built underneath—to the bedrooms. The owner’s suite occupies one side of The Cary’sfloor plan. Everything is oversized in the owner’s suite—the bedroom, bathroom (with choice of 3 configurations), and walk-in closet. The closet reflects another of New Home Inc.’s innovative new home design ideas. We built a dividing wall in this immense closet, so that you have extra wall space for long-hanging items. 

The special surprise on the second floor is something you won’t see anywhere else—at least not from the other home builders in Raleigh, NC.
