Healthy homes
New Home Inc. is concerned withindoor air quality, so each home is outfitted with awhole home filtration system. Using high-quality MERV filters, the system—which is connected to your HVAC—filters air pollutants out of your indoor air and brings in fresh air. No one wants to breathe recirculated, stale air! And the other benefit is that, rather than changing the filters on your inside vents each month (which you do, right?), the MERV filter needs to be replaced just once a year. That’s how durable and well-designed MERV filters are.
The indoor air in these healthy homes is further managed withpass-through ventsabove the doors of each secondary bedroom. Whether the door is opened or closed, the temperature is balanced between the bedroom and other rooms. In the owner’s bedroom, the duct is installed in the ceiling instead of over the door, adding privacy while still circulating air.
Smart homes
TheSmart Door Delivery Centerensures your packages are protected in an enclosed, climate-controlled area. The delivery person uses an authorized code to unlock the smart lock and step inside only this delivery zone. They can’t access the home’s interior. When the delivery is completed, the door locks. The Smart Door Delivery Center is offered in all of New Home Inc.’s new homes for sale near Raleigh.
Smart homes are a necessity with all the technology and devices available to you. New Home Inc. provides asmart home automation packagewith each home. It includes a BrilliantⓇlight switch control panel, Ring Pro video doorbell, Igloo HomeTMsmart lock, Honeywell T6 WiFi thermostat, network panel with CAT6 ethernet, and WiFi garage door opener. If you have an electric car or might have one in the future, these smart homes come prepared with an electric vehicle charging rough-in.
Innovative new home design ideas
Before we designed our floor plans, New Home Inc.’s experts did some research into what people wanted in their homes. And we listened. From small details to big changes, we incorporated ideas to make these homes more livable. Here are a few of these new home design ideas.
New Home Inc. recognizes that this seemingly minor detail like the placement of a door needs attention. Do you ever have difficulty placing your furnishings because of the way a door opens and closes? Another of the smart new home design ideas that makes a New Home Inc. stand out is theasymmetrically placed closet doors. It might seem logical to center the doors on a wall but that creates potentially wasted space. Our design loads doors to one side, so the door can swing wide open without getting in the way and offers more room for placing furniture on the side where more space is allowed.
No one likes a messy kitchen, so New Home Inc. has a solution. Our “Messy kitchen” is a small room, like a service pantry, that’s adjacent to your kitchen, a small room with a separate sink and cabinet space. The purpose is to move the mess out of the main kitchen. Use the messy kitchen for prep, storage, or clean-up. Create a beverage and snack station. Store your serving dishes and small appliances. You’ll love the clutter-free look and reduced traffic in your kitchen.
Our kitchens also include anoversized center islandwith conversational seating on 3 sides. We learned that the island is more than a workspace.
Theowner’s entryin each home is what some people know as a mudroom or drop zone. In a New Home Inc. home, we include built-in cubbies and wall hooks to help with organizing clutter and keeping that mess out of the main part of the home.
Our homes arehard-wired with CAT6 ethernet cablingthrough the entire house with CAT6 ethernet. The result is a more robust, reliable signal without dead zones. Wires are inside the walls, preventing the unsightly cable mess.

The Apex Home Tour
The Apexis so versatile. As Matt Riley says in thisvideo, “It’s packed full of awesome!” This home tour shows the Georgian elevation with the unique design feature of a double-stacked front porch, so you can step outside and enjoy the view on either level. You can choose Craftsman or Traditional elevations, each with a first-floor, covered front porch.
Whichever elevation you choose,The Apexpresents 2,800 square feet, including 4 bedrooms, one of which is a first-floor guest suite.
Once you enter the foyer, the room to the left is a flex space. With natural light filling the room, it would make a great home office, particularly with the addition of double doors at the entry!
The kitchen is the center of the home—a gathering place that needs to accommodate conversation. Notice the oversized center island, with seating on 3 sides to comfortably seat 6 people. Just beyond the island, the large cafe area seats at least 8, so you could serve 12 to 14 people in your kitchen and dining area together.
The first floor includes a guest suite near the family entry from the garage. The suite includes a comfortably sized bedroom and an adjacent full bath.
Follow the home tour upstairs and you come to the huge loft. In this Georgian elevation, you can step out to the covered porch. Would you prefer to use this loft as an additional bedroom? The plan accommodates that need and includes the choices of making the room larger or adding another full bath.
The owner’s suite’s design reflects New Home Inc.’s ingenuity and attention to detail. The bedroom is massive and drenched in natural light from the full-sized windows. The bath is standard with a shower that includes tiled floors, walls, and bench, and glass wrap to keep the room bright and airy. You can change up the bathroom by opting for a separate shower and tub or go for the super shower design: oversized shower with rain heads and sprays and a dedicated drying area.
Here’s a feature we really love: the double-loaded linen closet, another of New Home Inc.’sinnovative new homedesign ideas. The linen closet opens on two sides: the bathroom and the laundry room. Imagine, you can fold the towels and linens in the laundry room, put them directly in the closet, and then access them from the bathroom. What a time-saver!
If you don’t want the double-loaded linen closet, switch it out for a doorway that connects the owner’s bath directly to the laundry room.
Speaking of the laundry room, this one isn’t just a space to place your washer and dryer. New Home Inc. includes a laundry sink and extra space—for hampers, a folding station, ironing board, and steamer.
In the hallway, notice the inclusion of a closet, which converts dead space and adds entryway privacy to guest rooms and baths.

The Morehead Home Tour
Part of our distinctive Estate Collection,The Moreheadgives you 3,841 to more than 5,000 square feet of feature-rich, smartly designed living space on 3 finished levels, which you’ll see on thisvideo tour.
You’re greeted by stunning curb appeal. The full front porch presents beauty and outdoor living space, with plenty of room for your favorite outdoor furniture.
Step inside to a sun-drenched open floor plan. On one side of the foyer is a formal dining room with 2 entries. On the other is a flex space that would make an inspiring home office. Step through to the main living area where you’re greeted by a grand great room, accented with a gas fireplace that has built-in cabinets on each side. As one of our exciting new home design ideas, we’ve included a 12-foot sliding accordion glass door. Open up your indoors to the outdoors. And the screened porch with an outdoor fireplace gives you a comfortable retreat any time of year.
Come back inside and look at the exquisite gourmet kitchen. Details like a custom hood, smart appliances, and quartz countertops make this kitchen special. The oversized island serves as a workspace and conversational area, with seating on 3 sides, not just 2. But there’s more.
Step into the walk-in pantry that is so large, we’ve included a rolling, library-style ladder so you can reach the top shelves. Then, of course, The Morehead has New Home Inc.’s messy kitchen. This one is particularly unique because we’ve included an additional dishwasher and sink, floating shelves, cabinetry, and a pocket door to keep the “messy” out of view of the “tidy”.
The first floor guest suite behind the great room completes the first floor of The Morehead. Let’s head upstairs.
The second floor is home to 4 of the home’s 5 bedrooms. The owner’s suite is tucked in the back corner, with an eye-catching angled entry. You’ll appreciate the spa experience in the bathroom, which provides both a freestanding tub (with split dual vanities on each side) and a 2-person shower with a built-in bench and a smart shower system so you can personalize the shower settings. Completing the suite, the walk-in closet is dressing room-sized.
The 3 other bedrooms on the second floor each have a walk-in closet. The full bath is jack-and-jill style, perfect for sharing, while one bedroom has its own full bath, a great junior suite!
But the second floor isn’t just about sleep spaces. A huge game room can give you a gathering space for your family—whether it’s fun and games or a media space.

The Selma Home Tour
Welcome toThe Selma, another New Home Inc. exclusive design with exceptional curb appeal. Choose from 3 architectural styles: English Country, Georgian, and Traditional. Each one has a covered front porch with its own unique details. Look at thelarge stone-stacked columns and how they contribute to the curb appeal!
This floor plan gives you 2,700 square feet, with up to 5 bedrooms and 4 baths, depending on the configuration you choose. The layout includes a bonus room and both a guest suite and home office conveniently located on the first floor of The Selma.
From the foyer, look to your left to see the first-floor guest suite. The large bedroom is set off with a vestibule entry for added privacy. Your guests will also appreciate the sunny bedroom and convenience of a full bath.
On the way to the main living area, take note of the storage closet under the stairs. Why waste this space, right? Oh, and you can also convert the closet to apet palace, if you want to pamper your four-legged friend and family member with their own private retreat.
The main living area first welcomes you to the massive family room—accented with an included natural gas fireplace and custom built-ins in this particular home. The windows included above the built-ins bring even more light into the sunny room. As with every New Home Inc., home The Selma gives you the oversized island with seating on 3 sides, the messy kitchen, and the walk-in power pantry. Just beyond the kitchen is the family entry/drop zone, complete with the cubbies.
One of the most popular features of The Selma is the huge, second-floor bonus room with a nook. Use the ample wall space for furniture and big TV. The Raleigh is one of our larger homes, with 3,100 square feet that houses 5 bedrooms, 4 baths, and so much more, including both the owner’s suite and a guest suite on the first floor.
From the foyer, you have clear sight lines all the way to the back of this gorgeous home, as the kitchen, cafe, and family room follow in a straight path to the patio. The kitchen is an appealing feature with so much space, outfitted with the New Home Inc. signature oversized island, messy kitchen, and walk-in pantry. You’ll also like the spaces for the dining area and the family room. You’ll have so many options for designing this open floor plan, which includes a natural gas fireplace in the family room.
The first floor owner’s suite is nestled into the back corner of The Raleighfloor plan. The large bedroom affords room to include a sitting area, too. The room is hardwired for the ethernet so you’ll have a reliable, strong connection.
The owner’s bath has all the options of our other bathrooms and includes a private water closet. Off the bathroom is a supersized walk-in closet. The covered patio is just beyond the bedroom and you can add a door so you can step outside from your bedroom.
