About Eagles Landing

Eagles Landing: New Homes in Lillington, NC

Neills Creek Road runs northeast out of Lillington through farmland and stands of pine, past long driveways and mailboxes set back from the pavement. About five miles up, the land opens into sixteen homesites.

This is Eagles Landing. Half an acre to a full acre each, set far enough apart that what you see out the back is your own.

Sixteen homesites is the whole community, not phase one of six. It is the newest of our new homes in Lillington NC neighborhoods.

Room You Can Actually Use

Every homesite here runs between a half acre and a full acre.

That number means more once you stand on it. It is a real backyard instead of a strip of sod, deep enough that the tree line reads as scenery rather than a property marker. It is the difference between a yard you maintain and a yard you spend time in.

There is no through traffic either, because the road does not go anywhere except to the homes on it.

Your Everyday Radius

Harnett County sits within arm's reach of this address.

Neills Creek Park is three quarters of a mile up the same road. Twenty-five acres of trails, creek frontage, and open ground, close enough that it functions less like a destination and more like the back half of the neighborhood. Most communities charge dues for a playground. This one has a nature preserve two minutes from the driveway.

Schools are a mile away. Harnett Central Middle and Harnett Central High share the same campus corridor about two minutes up Harnett Central Road.

Campbell University is six minutes east in Buies Creek, which puts Division I ball games, a college-town coffee shop, and a serious library closer to the front door than the grocery store is for most people in Raleigh.

Downtown Angier is eight minutes north. Downtown Lillington is ten minutes southwest, with the Cape Fear River running behind it. Downtown Fuquay-Varina is fifteen minutes, when you want a longer dinner list and a Saturday market.

Raven Rock State Park is about twenty minutes away. Bluffs a hundred feet over the Cape Fear, twenty-some miles of trail, and enough river frontage that you can spend a whole Saturday there and not repeat yourself.

For military families, Fort Bragg is roughly thirty minutes down the road. That is the trade this part of the county offers. You get the land and the schools, and you spend a little of it on the drive.

The Homes

Eagles Landing is a Signature Series community, our larger floor plans, built for buyers who want the square footage to work as hard as the lot does.

Every home we build is certified through Eco Select Energy and rated on the HERS Index by an independent energy rater. HERS is the industry's measuring stick for how much energy a home actually uses. A home built to code scores 100, and the lower the number, the less energy the home consumes.

New Home Inc. homes average a HERS score of 66. That is roughly a third less energy than a code-built home, verified by third-party testing on the envelope and duct system before you get the keys.

What that means once you live here is a house that holds its temperature. Rooms that stay even from one end of the house to the other, floors that are not cold in February, and a power bill that does not swing wildly every time the weather does. The savings show up every month for as long as you own the home.

Good to Know Before You Visit

Which county am I in? Harnett County. Schools are Harnett County Schools, and your tax bill is set at the Harnett County rate.

What are the taxes? Harnett County's rate is $0.591 per $100 of valuation for 2025-26, per the North Carolina Department of Revenue. The county completed a property revaluation effective 2026. Our team can put together an estimated monthly payment on a specific homesite whenever you are ready.

Is there an HOA? Yes, $500 a year.

What schools? Lillington-Shawtown Elementary, Harnett Central Middle, and Harnett Central High, all part of Harnett County Schools. Our guide to Lillington-area schools breaks down the district school by school.

Does this work for military buyers? Often, yes. Our guide to off-post housing near Fort Bragg covers BAH, commutes, and what to expect from the Lillington area. Our team will tell you honestly if the drive does not work for your duty station.

Come Walk a Lot

Sixteen is a small number, and land like this in Harnett County does not sit long. The homesites are not interchangeable either. Some back to trees, some sit higher than others, some catch better afternoon light.

Come pick yours while picking is still a thing you get to do.
