Downtown Raleigh Tree Lighting

November 19th marks the official start of the Raleigh Holiday Season with the annual tree lighting and Triangle Pop-Up holiday market. Come enjoy holiday activities and music performances and take your holiday pictures in front of the dazzling tree!
Raleigh Christmas Parade
November 20, 2021 | 9:30 a.m.-noon | Downtown Raleigh
Kick off the holiday season with the 77th annual Raleigh Christmas Parade! The mile-long parade features 115 entries including marching bands, themed floats, super-sized balloons, costumed marchers, twirlers, and more! Grab your spot early and enjoy the festivities.
November 17 – December 23, 2021 | 10 am.-6 p.m. | Spring Haven Farm
Holiday revelers young and old will love snuggling baby goats (with Santa hats!), taking a ride on the Polar Express Tractor, and exploring the Snowflake Barn for sweets and treats. There will also be ornament-making, holiday light exhibits, letter-writing to Santa, and much more.
November 19 – December 11, 2021 ( Weekends only) | 5-7 p.m. | Moore Square Historic District
Moore Square transforms into a winter wonderland and holiday night market for four weekends this season! Shop local from over 50 vendors, enjoy kids’ craft activities, listen to live music, and visit with Santa. Karaoke, carriage rides, and tasty spirits round out this awesome holiday event.
Magic of Lights (New Attraction!)
November 19 – January 2, 2021 | 5 p.m. to 10 or 11 p.m. | Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek
This drive-through holiday lights experience uses the latest LED technology and digital animations to create your favorite holiday scenes and characters! Rain, snow, or shine, you can enjoy this brand new holiday attraction from the warmth and safety of your car.
November 19 – January 9, 2021 | 6-10 p.m. | Koka Booth Amphitheatre
Bring the whole family and experience beautiful and whimsical light creations that are sure to delight. This year, there are all-new displays and enhanced programming. Visitors can choose the Twilight Ticket Experience, the Very Important Panda tour, or Any Night tickets to be amazed by the twinkling creations.
Downtown Raleigh Public Menorah Lighting
November 29, 2021 | 6:30 p.m. | Duke Energy Center for Performing Arts
‘Tis the season for warm drinks, fresh latkes, and traditional donuts, and these treats will be available to all at this celebration of the Festival of Lights, led by the mayor of Raleigh.
